Private Candidates

Private candidates are individuals who do not attend UTPA School. You may register for examinations as private candidates for any IGCSE or AS/AL syllabus. The fees for each syllabus vary based on the number of components and exam duration.

Late registration: Begins Sunday, February 15, 2026

The late registration period for the May/June 2026 Series of Examinations will begin on Sunday, February 15, 2026. At this point, a $100 Late Registration Penalty will apply per component. Please note that changing an entry at this point will also incur late fees.
Please note that UTPA does not provide forecast grades for private candidates. We are also unable to evaluate coursework or provide predicted grades under any circumstances.

You will receive a confirmation from us once your request has been approved.
Please be aware that once your registration with CIE is submitted, refunds cannot be issued.
Additionally, if exams are cancelled, we cannot provide predicted grades or change deadlines for any syllabus. Students will be moved to the next available examination series if permitted by Cambridge.

The following fees will apply to external candidates:
Administration Fee: $290.00
Examination Fee: $280.00 × number of components
Examination fee per component: $160.00
Late registration fee: $100.00 per component
International mailing fee (certificate outside Canada): $150.00
